Study Hall Summer 2008

Study Hall Summer 2008 will consist of a 7-week-long, intensive SAT preparatory course, starting on Monday June 30th. Classes will be held from Monday through Thursday each week. Each course section will comprise an hour's instruction in each of the three SAT subject areas: Writing, Critical Reading, and Mathematics.

Two sections will be offered: the morning section, offered from 9:30am to 12:30pm, and the afternoon section, offered from 2pm to 5pm. An evening section may be added if there is adequate interest.

Welcome to Study Hall! Study Hall is a testing prep and educational consulting center in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC.

Study Hall's main goals are to prepare students for standardized tests, including the SAT, SAT II subject tests, and AP exams; to help students develop a strong foundation in effective study skills and educational basics; and to guide students and their parents through the college application process.

Recognizing that most students take the SAT and/or PSAT at some point in high school, Study Hall offers an integrated trio of SAT courses corresponding to the three sections of the SAT Reasoning test - Writing, Critical Reading, and Mathematics. These content-based courses will focus on teaching key concepts through the use of lectures, problem sets, and unit tests. We will also utilize a series of practice SAT tests to increase students' familiarity with the testing style.
